I was just noticing a correlation between the mass animal deaths as reported on the news recently and your gasland map of the shale basins and reports of contaminated water and land. I think this is something that requires further investigation. If these mass animal deaths are occurring because of natural gas suppliers and you can prove it it will help the cause of accountability greatly. Just thought it might be something to bring to everyone's attention. Thank you. Hope I am wrong... P.S. We have natural gas areas in western Nebraska. And I haven't heard anything about problems here yet, but bridgeport nebraska hasn't been able to use their water for decades for some reason and since moving to Nebraska my health has declined and doctors haven't been able to tell me what is wrong. The health problems started while living in Oshkosh Nebraska about 7 years ago. I don't know if the water is bad but while living there our water from the tap that comes from the city would hiss and gurgle. Might just want to check on the people in that area... Thanks again.

State and county officials are negoitating with oil and gas companies as we speak. Once the Payette County P&Z grants any type of permit, rural Paytte County and surrounding areas will be exploited by these gas and oil companies. Fracking is just the tip of the iceberg. All natural gas must be refined at a gas dehydration and compression facility. This removes some 50,000 gallons on "product water" and 40,000 plus gallons of "waste oil" a day. The oil can be sold but the product water is either trucked to yet an undetermined location or just dumped at or near the site for evaporation in unlined catch ponds. My wife and I have done countless hours of research, because an oil and gas company has requested a conditional use permit next to our property on 13 acres of prime agricultural ground. All the information we have gathered has had no positive effects on anyone but the oil and gas industry. Get the word out ,get involved, once the pandoras box is opened we as citizens of Idaho will pay the price.
